Art has a fatal flaw
The Art has one fatal flaw. For exactly 3 years I have loved its ease of use, its design, its sparkles. But the gasket where the bottle is inserted wears out and cannot be replaced. Sodastream's fix is to tell you to buy a new machine. I have searched gasket companies, amazon, Reddit, Youtube, general web, AI, for a replacement or a DIY fix. Many complaints but no luck finding a part. So when it would be reasonably easy to remove and replace a 10 cent gasket, you must throw the unit away and start over. I'm no longer a Sodastream fan - there are other brands out there now. (This applies to quick connect cartridge machines - the screw type has replaceable gaskets. )
